Visual Impact is not permitted to make any therapeutic claims about tanning in our beds.  No tests have ever been done specifically on the UV-tanning equipment at Visual Impact.  But there is a growing body of medical studies about benefits to moderate sun exposure.  UV-light is the best and most reliable source of Vitamin D3.  It doesn’t matter where you actually get your Vit D3 from (outdoor sunlight, indoor sunlight, or supplements, the key seems to be your actual Vit D3 serum blood level.  Vitamin D experts seem to agree that it is desirable to have a D3 level in excess of 40 to 60 ng/ml.  This is easy enough to check with a simple blood test.
